Carmac 0 Posted October 20, 2015 I am post lapband 3 weeks now with Dr Wright at the Nix and have gained 2 lbs since banding. Eating right, no problems with eating foods. Getting 600-700 calories a day and climbing. But no weight loss. Cannot fit into my close anymore due to stomach.
lisacaron 5,075 Posted October 20, 2015 @@Carmac Take it slow...during the first few weeks after surgery it's normal to gain a few pounds. Right now you are not at an optimal fill level and once you reach that you will start to see/feel things change. Give it time and don't give up, keep following the Dr.'s guidelines as far as eating and what you should be eating at this time and have faith you will get there. 2babutterfly 483 Posted October 20, 2015 Your body is still healing. Give it time to adjust you will start losing but remember you will do much better once you've had some fills Congrats and best wishes!
Lutasha 102 Posted October 20, 2015 It can be so frustrating but if you keep up the good work it will start coming off. Good luck!

WLSResources/ClothingExch 3,444 Posted November 14, 2015 Thanks. I am worried am eating too much sometimes. How do you arrive at that? 600-700 calories is extremely low. If you're following instructions, you're fine.
A new Melody 0 Posted March 22, 2016 I see dr wright. I stayed at my same weight for 3 weeks. I lost inches! It wasn't until after my first fill that I dropped slowly.. About a pound a week. I'm happy about that. Be patient... I think Allison the PA stated he typically puts 4cc at time of surgery . That wasn't much restriction for me. I'm at 5.5 now and see improvement. Thias38 8 Posted November 18, 2017 I have gained almost all my weight back I wish I had just waited and done the sleeve. The band has been a complete waste of money for me.
