You need to buy bariactic vitimans. Do they have them at BJ's? I have only found them online.

Everything comes in chewable form. It just depends on what you like. If you are normally okay with swallowing pills, I would only get a 60 -90 day supply in chewable form. I only had to worry about the big pills, my multi and the Calcium. everything else I was allowed to swallow and I went back to swallowing those after 6 weeks. You also may not like the taste of some of them. Get smaller amounts and try them out first.

its a mix of things in order to get the cheapest deals. for instance cvs. you can use A CVS store coupon if you have one at the moment, with a manufacture coupon and if you can manage to do that when they are on special sale (which could also give you extra bucks back for buying them? you just paid next to nothing.

I went to BJ also, only brought B-12 vitimans and I brought calcium chews from K-mart had reward points and on sale. The Vitamin Shoppe is where I went to get everything else. They have a brand called baritric support for your Multivitamins. I also purchase Iron chewables. My protien (Nectar Brand on sale). They run a different special every month on different items.

Go to Celebrate You can buy a sample pack for $3.

I've been told that I'll be on a multi and calcium citrate forever. Nothing else unless my numbers are low.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
