krash11 35 Posted October 28, 2015 I havnt done any Vitamin research but i agree going there every month is a pain. Im just going to get some Centrum Multi Vitamins when im done with my current bottle. It rubs me the wrong way that the promote their own brand. Screams kickback to me. I never took Vitamins with the band and never had any problems.
HopeandAgony 566 Posted October 28, 2015 (edited) Did you happen to catch though that they claim if you take their Vitamins you won't lose your hair? I don't know what to think about this Vitamin thing. Edited October 28, 2015 by HopeandAgony
krash11 35 Posted October 28, 2015 Im not concerned about the Hair loss. I never had any issues with the band and i think with the sleeve i will be getting more nutrients then before. I think any multi Vitamin will work.

diane1 26 Posted November 23, 2015 I was wondering of anyone had to do lovenox shots ( blood thinners) and for how long? And is you had a drainage tube afterwards? I know all doctors are different. I will be having bypass.
krash11 35 Posted November 23, 2015 I had the sleeve. There were no drains. Had the shots for three days at home. I only did two days of them and i was fine.

diane1 26 Posted November 24, 2015 What kind of pre-op diet was required?
HopeandAgony 566 Posted November 24, 2015 What kind of pre-op diet was required? 2 shakes per day and for dinner you can have 4 oz lean meat and half cup of veggies. You can have broth, sugar free Jello, or popcicles twice a day to help with hunger.
krash11 35 Posted November 24, 2015 I didnt do the shakes cuz i cant get them down. Just drank Water and ate meat

HopeandAgony 566 Posted November 24, 2015 Yes Did you puree your eggs or cottage cheese in the 2 week pureed stage?
krash11 35 Posted November 24, 2015 I never pureed. I figured by the time u chewed really well it became pureed. You wont eat a whole lot the first two weeks anyway. Lots of broth.
