Lexuskela 158 Posted October 19, 2015 I bought Chobani Greek yogurt today, I usually always eat Chobani Greek. I was excited I found the new pumpkin flavored ones but I am worried about the sugars in it. I am going to attach the nutritional facts. Please let me know if I should return this. I was so excited because I LOVE PUMPKIN & have not had anything pumpkin yet since surgery because usually everything pumpkin is made in unhealthy ways. ???????????????????? Ps... Sorry I can't rotate the pic ????
Elode 8,093 Posted October 19, 2015 It's not horrible. I've seen much worse. I think it would be fine. If you're tracking put it in your tracker and see how it effects your day. It depends on what numbers you want. I don't eat yogurt anymore but when I did I ate Fage because it had the lowest amount of sugar I could find. @@Lexuskela
Lexuskela 158 Posted October 19, 2015 Ohhhhh why did you stop eating yogurt? Slider food? I only got it because it was pumpkin & then I found a Protein shake recipe that called for vanilla yogurt. Otherwise I have not had it in a while. But when I do eat it, its always chobani Greek. I will try fage. Thank you for helping me. Once again lol I know I must drive you crazy! Ughh it's so hard scrutinizing over everything you eat.
jaxmom1974 53 Posted October 19, 2015 I'm missing all the pumpkin stuff too! I've started adding pumpkin pie spice to my shakes and it's curbing my cravings big time! Maybe try adding some to your plain yogurt with a dash of stevia.
lauraellen80 855 Posted October 19, 2015 That's funny--just this evening at the store, the lady in front of me had some of that, and I thought it looked good, so I looked up the nutritional facts when I got home. My NUT says to avoid things with 10 or more grams of sugar per serving, so I'm passing on it. But, I did find a couple recipes on Pinterest for lower-sugar versions that I'm going to try: http://www.skinnymom.com/pumpkin-pie-yogurt-cinnamon-roasted-walnuts/ http://www.busybuthealthy.com/greek-pumpkin-yogurt/
Elode 8,093 Posted October 19, 2015 @@Lexuskela No you don't drive me nuts! I just don't like it enough to use it in my day. I ate so much of it I got sick of it before surgery. It's good for you though. If you get the Fage 0 you will need to add some kind of sweetener to it or it's like sour cream.
Elode 8,093 Posted October 19, 2015 This is the nutrition facts for 6ozs, some people add sugar free Jello to it for flavor.

dhrguru 1,238 Posted October 19, 2015 The only yogurt I eat ( Oikos greek vanilla) is mote sugar than my nut recommends. I eat it, but don't do so daily. I break up khasi's pumpkin spice flax granola and add to it to get my pumpkin fix.
1sttime 42 Posted October 19, 2015 GNC has a protien drink that is pumkin spice flavor. Lots of protien , I think 25 grams and low in carbs and fat. Tastes great too.
tomi71 581 Posted October 19, 2015 I like Fage 0%. To it I'll add dehydrated fruits or some pure pumpkin and a dash of pumpkin spice and about a tsp of agave or some Splenda.
