Marcy Palmeri 1 Posted October 14, 2015 New affordable WLS (weight loss surgery) Approved! New WLS (weight loss surgery) Approved! Oct 14, 2015 Share on LinkedIn Share on Facebook Share on Twitter How exciting to hear about the new WLS approved for those suffering from Obesity! The appeal of the Orbera Intragastric Balloon is that its temporary, unlike the other weight loss surgery options currently available, is less invasive and costs less. Although the balloon is not covered by insurance, the fee is more affordable at between $5000 to $7000. This new weight loss surgery tool, coupled with education and counseling, could lead to a decrease in Obesity worldwide. Very sincerely, Marcy Palmeri WL Solutions #viralwls #viral

Proud2BMe 1,016 Posted October 14, 2015 It's been used in the UK for years. However, unlike the sleeve and gastric bypass, the balloon does not diminish your hunger. The balloon also deteriorates in your stomach and can not be kept in for an extended period of time and will have to be removed and/or replaced. In the UK they use the balloon as a preliminary procedure for patients who need to loose a good deal of weight before qualifying for weight loss surgery.
