Has anyone ever heard of and took something called, organic apple cider vinegar, if so , how much and how often did you take it, and what benefits did you have from taking it?

Yup I use it all the time. I use Braggs brand. It's good for cooking, drinking and as a clarifying rinse for your hair. The cloudiness is the "mother". It contains a small amount of Protein and s much better for you than regular filtered apple cider vinegar. The protein is good for your hair. I like the taste and occasionally will add a capful to my Water. It's good for the digestion so for those experiencing Constipation it might be helpful to use. I've heard reports of it helping people to clear their skin up, but I don't really have problem skin. I also use a tiny bit when cooking vegetables and I like using it to make salad dressings or vinegar based cole slaws.

A capful in 8 ounces of Water. Typically that first drink of the day before Breakfast. I don't drink it everyday, maybe 3 times a week. It's sold lots of places. My local produce market carries it, the health food stores and Whole Foods. I think I've even seen it at Acme.

You can buy it in any store. It doesn't have to be organic or even have the "mother" mentioned above. In fact, it doesn't have to be apple cider vinegar specifically. Any vinegar will work. People who take it claim it helps them in almost every disease or disorder imaginable. However, the truth is there's no evidence it works. Also, there is a drawback. Drinking vinegar, even diluted, can seriously harm your teeth and can lead to stomach issues. So drink it sparingly. People who drink it use 1-2 teaspoons per normal size glass of Water, about 8oz as mentioned above. I've tried it and I can tell you that 2 teaspoons is too much and will burn your stomach and tastes awful.

Clearly mileage varies here. Personally I've never used more than a tsp. I like the flavor. It has never burned my stomach. However the major difference is there is no Protein in the filtered clear brands and there is in the organic brands.

My daughter (no weight issues) takes a couple tablespoons stirred into a glass of Water every day - she was told her PH was off. It's helped immensely, and her acne cleared up right away. She went off it for a week and noticed the difference immediately.

I tried taking it for a while (pre-op) and found it no help to me at all - but hey, we're all different! Let us know how it goes--

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
