Band Slipped to Sleeve

Hello, I decided to share with others my journey and hoping for support back. I decided to have revision to sleeve after my lapband slipped after running a marathon last year. I was in the worst pain and was vomiting every 15 minutes. As a result I caught a taxi to hospital because I was out of town. I was in hospital for 2 days with tube down nose. Having revision to sleeve in December. Weight has stayed the same.

I had band to sleeve revision in May. Complications had just started with my esophagus caused by the lapband. Thus far, revision is the best decision I have made. The only downfall for me now is that weight loss has been extremely slow for me with the sleeve. I thought it would be quicker, however, with the lapband my weight loss had stalled the last year that I had it. I'm perfectly ok with this. The benefits with sleeve are far better. No regrets here. jake

Thanks Jake for feedback. I will just be happy to be under 200 lbs. I feel better and tired of getting fills. I probably paid for sleeve all the times I have gone to doctors. Good luck with your goal weight.
