I need to update mine. As @@CowgirlJane said, the men in the over 50 range are something else. I do keep getting men in their late 20's and early 30's contacting me. So not feelin it!

@@FinallyFit50s - thanks for sharing, you look very young and trendy in the last picture, that may be attracting the "boys" ;-)

Thanks @OKCPirate. After looking at your profile I need to change up some things, including pictures. I'm currently rocking a totally Angela Davis 1960's look. It's funny how when I was young I fought to wear makeup and now, I could care less most days. Going to a wedding this weekend. Should get some fun pics from that. Being versatile, I'm all about it!

I want one!!!! I would have the best profile ever!!! I'd probably be 130 and a "undercover millionaire" that hikes through the jungles of Africa (in case I hate the guy I can be gone without being contacted) what else would I do since I'm done working for the CIA? Man, my husband is a profile kill though!

@@Elode - Yep the being married thing is a buzz kill on most dating sites, but if you ever long for unwanted attention, put one on Ashley Madison. It will give your ego an inflation like nothing else will. You will be overwhelmed.

@@OKCPirate ummm No thank you I just watched the movie "Temptation the confessions of a marriage counselor" by Tyler Perry. Women who cheat on their husbands get AIDS and die lonely! I'm not going out like that! Ha!

I am considering signing up on Match when I get serious about dating in a year or 2. How many men in their 40s with no kids are there?

@@OutsideMatchInside - Match will let you search without paying. So create an account, poke around. If you are in a major metro area and want lots of males, go to Tinder, way more guys.

Yeah I know there are more guys on stuff like Tinder but I want a mature man looking for something long term casual, not just casual. I know, confusing.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
