So this morning the scale said 200.0... That is torturous!

How is the scale going to tease me like that. I got back on 2 other times hoping the number would go down, but it didn't :(. Ughh I've been pushing hard lately to make it to wonderland. Now today I'm going to eat all Protein and workout twice. Tomorrow that scale better say 1 something! Lol. *Vent over*

You will get there! I remember wanting to get past that point so badly and for two weeks I would be there one day then my weight would fluctuate back up and down and up again.

Now I cannot weigh daily anymore, it actually began to make me mad. I lose a pound and get stuck for two weeks on that darned fluctuation roller coaster.

This morning was my weigh in and whoop, down a pound. Thank goodness!

Thanks everyone! I worked out for 30 minutes this morning, and have been eating nothing but Protein and Water. I weighed myself an hour ago for curiosity and I hit wonderland! Finally lol after 7 years. Now I'm not looking back and I have to keep maintaining progress :)

You'll get there! I remember eagerly waiting to get to 199. Lol. I haven't been under 200 lbs since I was 16. So I couldn't wait. It's been a little over six months and my weight loss is slowing up. But I noticed that I HAVE to do the right thing (like eating Protein and staying hydrated) for things to go my way. Which is hard because I don't like to eat (I am more of a grab a snack person).

But stay with it, try not to obsess with the scale (it is really hard to do). We're rooting for you!

The same thing happened to me and it will pass.... It's like the scale knows and there's a speed bump on 200 - in fact, I've found that every 10lb interval is a hurdle with that imaginary bump at 90, 80 , 70 and so on . Stick to the plan and you'll get there! Good luck and enjoy ONEderland :)

I completely understand, I had gastric bypass on Sept 1 and I'm at 208 right now and can't wait to be in onederland. It's been over 20 years since my weight was in the hundreds. I had to take my scale out of my bathroom because I was weighing daily and numerous times throughout the day. Just can't wait to not see 200 on the scale but learning to be patient.

I've been there stuck for a week but when I continue to eat healthy, exercise and drink plenty of Water the scale show me love Sometimes up to 5 pounds lost and lots of inches. Slow weight lost is great for not having excess fat hanging because exercise will tone the muscle.

I am 3 months out and I just hit onederland!!!! I went to see my nutritionist and it said 198.5 I was so excited I took a picture!!! It's been 7 years since I've seen anything under 200 pounds. Every day is getting easier to eat less and eat better and the more I know I did the right thing even when I have cravings and get mad cause I can't eat what everyone else is eating. In the end it is worth it. I'm happier and healthier now. I've lost 60 pounds and my second goal is to lose 23 more pounds. Good luck everyone!!! Keep up the good work.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
