heidikate 49 Posted October 28, 2015 Kegels are SO important. My bladder prolapsed last year. If I had done more kegels through the years, I might have avoided this. Now all I can do is do em and try and strengthen my pelvic floor so that the bladder will not drop lower and it might even go back up a bit
Xtina717 6 Posted May 12, 2016 I know this an old post but.....my mom had lapband and she warned me that the fat my vajayjay has accumulated will not go away! I've decided as I lose weight to use creams to make me sweat in target areas. Areas like my tummy, arms, back fat, thighs, chin, and vajayjay! It might only make a little bit of a difference but the creams make me sweat 3x as much so I'm hoping it helps. Good luck ladies and I am newly banded and would love a banded buddy!!!!!! WLSResources/ClothingExch 3,444 Posted May 12, 2016 (edited) @@Xtina717 It doesn't work that way. You can't lose fat where you choose to lose it. Losing fat means that it's lost all over. Some spots may be more reluctant, so the fat will melt at a slower rate. Don't waste your money or time with creams that make promises. At best, you'll walk into an old wives' tale. At worst, you'll be a sucker for fraud. Beside that, who wants a sweaty crotch? Women who discuss this all report sagging "down there." If your mother had a different experience, it may be that she didn't lose as much weight as others. Edited May 12, 2016 by WLSResources/ClothingExch
Xtina717 6 Posted May 13, 2016 (edited) @ "wlsresources/clothingexch" it's a cream I use when working out. You're right it may do absolutely nothing but it may sweat off an inch or two. And I definitely shower after workouts so no sweaty crotch for the day. My mom did not experience sagging, just what she feels is literally a fat public area. They actually have pubic liposuction which will get rid of it. JS Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Edited May 13, 2016 by Xtina717

Yes, you did say "cream' earlier. I repeat, it doesn't work that way, but if you really are fond of the idea, have at it. I've done my work.
daniotra 298 Posted May 13, 2016 I think we are getting a little confused about which part of the female anatomy she's discussing. My comment was strictly about the fatty area called the mons. I was not aware that the labias minora and majora carried weight?? I'll have to ask if my husband if he noticed they've shrunk?? I definitely have fat on my labia majora. They are quite plump. I'm hoping to lose some weight down their so my pants fit better. Just say no to camel toe!
