Private Fat loss

Recommended Posts

This was supposed to go in the ladies only section but it wouldn't let me post for some reason, but I guess this applies to men aswell ????

So I've been banded for 3 months and I'm down 45lbs, I can notice some weight loss mainly on my face and legs, but what I really want to know is will I lose weight on my vagina area? The flabby pubis area, So far I can't see no difference and I'm just imagining that I'm going to lose weight and still have a flabby vagi.

So help me out ladies, tell me your experiences. ????

Flabby Vagi would be a good band name.....

Just kidding, lol. Yes, my pubic area has lost weight. I can really tell during sexy time when my public bone "bumps" hubbys. Ouch!

@@WoodenHearts - One word, "kegels"

There is a tendency to have lose skin all over, minimize it same as you would everywhere else, can't spot reduce, but they will do a mommy make over plastic surgery if the skin is too excessive.

@@OKCPirate I thought Kegel exercises were just to tighten the muscles inside the vagina?

I'm just a fan, no first hand knowledge, so I'll shut up now. (A man has to know his limitations) ;-)

Oh lord do I know what you are talking about!

My plan is plastic nip and fix. Hopefully they will lift upward when it is time to do a tummy tuck-hopefully.

Yes, there can definitely be loose skin in the mons area. It is stuffed with fat when we are obese and when the fat goes away, so does the stuffing :o :o :o

My doctor told me the fat is why I'm so "tight" and he had trouble seeing my cervix for the Mirena insertion.

@@Victoria Mora, I've noticed that since losing weight I don't have to buy wide fit shoes anymore, but I've never heard of people's feet actually going up a couple of sizes lol I've been a size 8 (uk) since I was 14.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
