Any October 15th sleevers?

Recommended Posts

I'm so excited, I finally have my date. It's been a quite a journey, these past few months. I have been able to get rid of 40 pounds, since May. That has help make this process a bit easier. I didn't want to wait for the surgery to begin the process. I would love to hear from someone. Have a blessed day.

My date is 10/19 and I am so ready since I have been working on this since 2013. I am not doing good on my pre-op diet because at the pre-op seminar with the surgeon he said that they found it doesn't matter if you do the diet or not. However, as I have been working with my Bariatric doctor that has always been the plan. My mind now has its own battle going on and the wrong side is winning.

@Lucy...how are you feeling? What would you tell us to expect?

well everyone is different, but I slept most of the first day, I only used my pain pump once I had very little pain, I had to do a lot of walking to get my gas & poop out, getting all the Water down you need is a bit of a struggle, you have to get a swallow test before you start on liquids to be sure you have no leaks, your stay could be anywhere from same day discharge up to staying a couple days, I refuse to be sent home the next day I stayed 2 extra days, lots of do's and don't...pretty much all I can think of right now

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
