bellabloom 2,467 Posted October 8, 2015 Every once in awhile I have a day that I feel completely insatiable. I seem to crave sweets? But I'm not sure if that's what I am craving because when I do eat them I don't like them. . No amount of food seems to satisfy me- I can only eat small portions so I have to keep eating throughout the day. I feel this urge, intense craving and I can't pin it down so I just keep trying different things!! I can't figure out why this happens. I am still trying to lose a couple more pounds so I've been keeping my calories about 1000-1200... Today I had 1600 which is the most I've had in weeks. Is this my body trying to tell me not to lose anymore? Am I dehydrated? Anyone else experiencing this?
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted October 8, 2015 It depends on what you are eating. Often when our body is craving carbs it manifest as craving sweets. Sometimes something with a bit of healthy fat like an ounce of nuts, a tbsp of nut butter, cheese cubes and maybe a tiny bit of dried fruit like raisins, cranberries or apricots or a bit of string cheese may hit the spot. I find I can eat a very small amount of fried fruit like 10 raisins and take care of that sweet craving. I'm not a nutritionist so I have no idea why that works. You may have to play around and see what works for you.
Mrbig77 19 Posted October 14, 2015 (edited) Wow.... Same here... I think your body is actually deficient in something else and it's manifested in the form of sweets... I usually drink Water to try and curve this before the issue gets out of control. Excersise also curves my cravings for sweets also Edited October 14, 2015 by Mrbig77
