imsoglad56 402 Posted October 7, 2015 I've lost 128 pounds so far and my husband has lost 100 pounds and is at goal. We were both outpatient. In at 7:30 am, out by 5:30 pm. The doc's not going to recommend outpatient if he doesn't think it's safe, it's his reputation on the line.
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted October 7, 2015 Mine was technically outpatient even though I spent the night in the hospital. I was told it was outpatient up to 24 hours after surgery. Then, they have to decide whether or not to let you go home or admit you. I was doing well enough to go home.
