So I'm getting incredibly tired of broth, juice, and jello.... I need hope. What comes after clear liquids..... what does full liquid diet consist of?!?!?

Protein Shakes, basically. I was also allowed milk, so I mix mine with that to get more Protein.< /p>

I couldn't have pudding until the next stage, purée.

My book says pudding can be in stage 2 IF you thin it down with milk, otherwise wait until puréed stage. It says Protein Shakes, strained soups/broth, V-8 juice, sf Jello and Popsicles

Yeah, puddings were a pureed food stage for me too.

@@StephOnTheMove At mayo, we were only on Clear Liquids for the first couple of days and then "Blenderized" pourable liquids until day 14. Check out the pics. One of my favorite creations was taking 2 Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurts, adding 4 oz. of Premier vanilla Protein shake and blasting it in my Nutribullet to make lil smoothies. It made 3 - 1/2 cup servings at 12g of Protein each. Instead of drinking them, which I could have, I'd dip my lil baby spoon in it and lick it off. Made me feel like I was eating something instead of always drinking - LOL! Oh the mind games we play ;)

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
