YES!!! I scored some of these at Sam's for 3.91 a case this weekend! I love the chocolate and vanilla and tried one of these. It was lovely - but needs to be quite cold to taste nice. Also this one does not have anywhere near the Protein and is only about 20 calories less than the 30gram ones. I like it for a little change.

yes I saw that it was a little high in calories for how small it was, but I'm still looking for Protein drinks that I can tolerate

I've been reading in another support group that whey ISOLATE is best absorbed by us after RNY. Premier is concentrate. My doctor's staff actually gave us Premier sample. I do drink them. So far chocolate is my favorite. I agree they need to be really cold. I don't think you can beat the convenience and portability of these either.

Bought the big pack of smoothies at Sam's and I thought it was disgusting. I couldn't take another sip and gave it to my husband. He didn't think it was that bad, but he'll eat anything. I'm pre-op, not sure if it will taste better to me post-op.

;) Hello friends,

My wife bought this pack long time back! She thought that I would probably loose weight after having it. Silly lady! Anyway I liked its taste. It tasted good! In fact even my wife loved it.

After consulting some experts from thelapbandcenter I even had this smoothie after my operation.

Have a good day friends!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
