kimby1029 119 Posted October 6, 2015 YES!!! I scored some of these at Sam's for 3.91 a case this weekend! I love the chocolate and vanilla and tried one of these. It was lovely - but needs to be quite cold to taste nice. Also this one does not have anywhere near the Protein and is only about 20 calories less than the 30gram ones. I like it for a little change. twinmomC 12 Posted October 6, 2015 I've been reading in another support group that whey ISOLATE is best absorbed by us after RNY. Premier is concentrate. My doctor's staff actually gave us Premier sample. I do drink them. So far chocolate is my favorite. I agree they need to be really cold. I don't think you can beat the convenience and portability of these either.
Mega_100 146 Posted October 6, 2015 Bought the big pack of smoothies at Sam's and I thought it was disgusting. I couldn't take another sip and gave it to my husband. He didn't think it was that bad, but he'll eat anything. I'm pre-op, not sure if it will taste better to me post-op.
Sophie74656 1,572 Posted October 6, 2015 My taste towards Protein Drinks changed after surgery. I had no problem drinking the Premier Protein shakes before but can't stand them now
clarkallen 0 Posted October 7, 2015 Hello friends, My wife bought this pack long time back! She thought that I would probably loose weight after having it. Silly lady! Anyway I liked its taste. It tasted good! In fact even my wife loved it. After consulting some experts from thelapbandcenter I even had this smoothie after my operation. Have a good day friends!
