Septembercab 0 Posted July 13, 2007 Good for you, I just started the process--if you would can you tell me if you had any difficulties with the insurance approval. My first seminar is 8/14, I've scheduled my psych eval as well, what else can I do to expedite????????????
_Becca 0 Posted July 13, 2007 My insurance had an exclusion, so I went to Mexico and it was a great experience. I did do lots of research before I went. Try the insurance section because when I was trying to get approved through my insurance, I read lots of posts there that were helpful. Good luck and find a way to make this happen for yourself, even if you can't get insurance coverage. It is SO worth it!

Barbara13 0 Posted July 13, 2007 Septembercrab, i was lucky to be a paid patient. Unlucky in that the week before my surgery BCBS of AL decided that they would "look" into paying for lapband. I'm glad I went my way. Dr. Miles scheduled me quickly, I had the surgery, and now I'm heading down the weight loss road. Do you live close to Birmingham? Will you be at July 21st support meeting? Try to get to support meetings. I went to four of them before I had my surgery. They are great knowledge gathering places. Good Luck.. I have been having terrible headaches - but I know I can make it 10 more days!! and then I will be banded too!
