Hi- I'm just starting the process and have a 6 month requirement for insurance purposes. As excited and anxious as I am, I'm glad to be able to meet with the exercise physiologist and nutritionist so I am able to learn how to eat and be healthy for the New Me. My birthday is in March (will be 44) so I'm giving myself the ultimate present- my life back. Good luck to you. Anyone out there looking at a March 2016 date?

YES ME!!!!!!!! My last appointment with my PCP on this "supervised" diet ends that month!!! What did your dr do? Mine just suggested cut backs, she didn't give me a calorie limit.

@@hollybower, my Bariatric Doc told me not to diet or lose weight until after I see the Nut and that's tomorrow (10/21). I actually gained a few pounds of Water weight because it's that time of the month for me and I also have not been able to take my lasix water control medication in the past 4 days due to my work schedule so I hope a gain doesn't count against me. I'll keep you posted.

I don't have an official surgery date, but everything so far is good to go for February.

Same here ! I will be done with my support groups January 7th, my work up is scheduled for the 13th and then everything gets submitted to my insurance company. After that it's a waiting game so my doctor told me I should expect to go in around mid February. I'm so excited :)

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
