BettyBoop 28 Posted October 2, 2015 Anyone know of a good online food diary website? I've used MyFitnessPal for a few years. But now they won't record my diary, because according to them, I am not eating enough!!I hope I am putting this in the right area....Thanks!
BohemianBeauty 58 Posted October 2, 2015 They should still record it, but they just won't give you a projected weight loss calculation. Otherwise, you can try Cronometer or SparksPeople
Namaste6 82 Posted October 2, 2015 @BettyBoop I swear by the app LoseIt. They have a large database of foods that includes brands, restaurants, and even generic labels. It also has a scan, so you can scan in the food you eat. It also calculates the total grams/percentages of fat, Protein, and carbs. You can even put notes on a meal saying "This filled me too much" or etc. It will give you a projection of weight control for: loss, gain, and maintenance; it will not allow you to say you want to lose more than 2 lbs a week though, but you can change it in the "Goal" section by decreasing your calories. I was told by my Nutritionist to lower my calories to a certain mark, which was very possible. I have been using it for the past month and it has really helped keep me aware. Bufflehead 6,358 Posted October 2, 2015 All you need to do with MFP is go over 1,000 calories a day. I'm not suggesting you have to actually eat those calories! If you end up with 850, go to the Quick Add Calories tool in your food diary, add in 151 calories, and close your diary for the day. It will post your diary to your timeline and give you your projected weight loss without the stupid message about how unhealthy you are. Then just delete the quick added calories from your diary.
