Multi chewable vitamin

Recommended Posts

So I wasted almost $40 on Bariatric Advantage chewable Multivitamin. It is so bitter it makes me vomit. Does anyone know how the Celebrate chewable multivitamin tastes and which flavor is the best?

I have tried every bariatric Vitamin.< /p>

Most leave an aftertaste, smell awful or very chalky.

The best tasting one is the Bariatric Fusion mixed berry Soft chews. They are so good, they don't taste or smell like a vitamin! They taste like berry taffy, and they dissolve rather quickly. These do not have iron.....so I ordered the Bariatric fusion Iron chew, which tastes like those fruit gushers in wild cherry flavor. Very good!!! Links are below for both. Bariatric pal online store also carries these products and it is cheaper by several dollars. Plus you can get additional 15% off by using the GETMESOMEBP code.

Celebrate has a new chewy multi, it's like a Starburst. It's sort of plastic-tasting, but I am finding it way more palatable than the chalky type of chewable. I had gone off the taste of the BA chewables *and* the Celebrate ones.

I tried my first Vitamin at about a week out. I had a bad reaction - painful barf session. Waited a week, tried again and no problem ever since. No need to rush, your tummy needs to start healing.

vitamin patches are so much better and don't upset your stomach. They are called patched.com. And now also available from the Bariatric Pal Store

I saw two Drs on a two month check up and took the outside to the visit and they were really impressed by them

They are also cheaper

My nut recommended Centrum chewable. They're orange flavored. I also take chewable Caltrate, Calcium pills.< /p>

I use the Centrum Senior chewables ... can't stomach anything orange flavored and these are berry-ish. My NUT check through it all and was totally okay with these in place of the recommended ones.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
