mlsuarez 5 Posted October 2, 2015 So I wasted almost $40 on Bariatric Advantage chewable Multivitamin. It is so bitter it makes me vomit. Does anyone know how the Celebrate chewable multivitamin tastes and which flavor is the best?
Chele H 427 Posted October 2, 2015 I couldn't find one that wasn't disgusting. I used Flinstones Complete and took double the dosage for the first month post op. After that I started with regular Multi Vitamins.< /p>

Bufflehead 6,358 Posted October 2, 2015 I take Trader Joe's High Potency chewable multi's. They taste fine, are cheaper, lower calorie, and lower carb than virtually every other Vitamin out there. My labs have always been great.
mlsuarez 5 Posted October 2, 2015 My surgeon is very specific about wat I can take. He says Flintstones are a huge no no as well as gummies Centrum and one a day and generic store brands. He says it makes him frustrated that these Vitamins are even sold bc they are a waste of money and have no ground in being rated highly for purity and quality. He only approves of optisource, Celebrate BA and GNC .
joatsaint 2,814 Posted October 2, 2015 I started taking these this week. They taste pretty good, kind of a berry flavor. Sometimes they have a bit of a bitter aftertaste, but I can live with it. :-)
my_new_lifetime 64 Posted October 2, 2015 My surgeon wants me to take a chewable multivitamin with Iron. Do any of these have iron?
MaryPh 78 Posted October 2, 2015 Centrum makes a chewable with Iron. Orange flavored and not horrible
rnsamantha 352 Posted October 2, 2015 I hated the Bariatric Advantage multivitamin too. I use the ProCare bariatric chewable in citrus and find that it tastes okay, but now that I've gotten permission to swallow pills I'm just trying to use what I have left before I buy some regular caplets. TeeNahh 40 Posted October 2, 2015 I use building blocks Vitamins, they're a bit pricey but I like the way they taste. chocolate flavor was ok, but black raspberry was my favorite. Celebrate sent me a box of samples for $3... Pretty sure they still do that, they're not bad but I like building blocks vitamins better, they come in bundles and separates. Multi, anti ox, Calcium and Iron cost about $65 and you get them the next day. Hope this helps !

OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted October 2, 2015 I take Bariactiv but it looks like you can only get them with Nascobal prescription. I like them, I take them on an empty stomach all the time no issues.
RILEYSMOM22 344 Posted October 2, 2015 I take Bariatric Fusion multi vitamins... 3 per day
PamInWA 21 Posted October 2, 2015 I took Celebrate in strawberry pineapple flavor - I did fine with them the first week but by the second week they started giving me awful reflux, and then they started making me gag. I was just cleared to take capsules so I switched to Bariatric Advantage.
