Sabl3r 15 Posted October 1, 2015 I can't help but feel like I can eat a lot. Granted it is not nearly as much as I used to but I can definitely eat a full cup of food. I don't feel pressure or full and I could definitely eat more but I stop myself. I also feel real hunger, not just head hunger, real hunger! Is anybody else experiencing this? Daveo 485 Posted October 1, 2015 I notice I can eat more now as well depending on the type of food. About a cup is the same for me.
joatsaint 2,814 Posted October 1, 2015 Yep, I noticed a real change in how much I could hold at 6 months and again at 9 and again at 12. From there on, it was stable at 1 1/2 to 2 cups, depending on the Protein to vegetable ratio. By 6 months, Frankensleeve's swelling had gone away and he would tolerate more types of foods. So it was important to stay with my doc's recommended Proteins and carbs. But I still continued to lose weight. It took my body about a year to lower it's metabolism to match my lower caloric intake. Take advantage of this time to get into good eating habits and a good exercise routine. It will pay off if your metabolism starts to slow.
liannatx 897 Posted October 1, 2015 For the first few months I couldn't eat more than 2-3 oz at a time. I am almost 7 months and am full on about 3.5 oz of solids. i can eat a little more of soft stuff like yogurt, just shy of a full container. I still weigh most of my meals. I do get hungry! I have an early lunch at 11:30 and usually have a small snack between lunch and supper. I pretty much eat 4 small meals a day since there isnt much difference in the size of a meal or snack : )
jhclikesshopping@gmail.com 285 Posted October 2, 2015 hi - I am also at 6 months and I still stick with 2 oz of Protein and 1 oz of veggies so still at 3 oz of food for each meal. I am still losing - have 50 pounds till goal. I will say - I can eat 5 oz of yogurt (one container) since its goes down easier. Definitely watch the slider foods - but dense Protein for me is still 2-3 oz total.
Sabl3r 15 Posted October 2, 2015 It seems as though others still eat a really small amount. I watch what and how much I eat but Damn, this has me worried. And I'm in the midst of a plateau to boot! Thank you all for your responses
Slimsoon1988 123 Posted October 2, 2015 I'm 7 months and can also eat much more than I could months ago. I really don't want to be able to eat much. But I know with time I'll be able to eat more and more
