Finally on the loosers bench

Had my surgery at 7 this morning and everything went well. Got up a bit ago for my first walk. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Started my watersips ar 4:30. Didn't meet my first goal but second on I did. The nausea is awful! Have a patch and Phenergan. Pain is about a 5 now. The dr said if I reach goals tomorrow then I can go home tomorrow. Hope everyone else that went today are doing well?

Nausea and pain will subside that's the good news! If you keep walking they'll let you go sooner! All the work is done once you're home. I, like a lot of people was remorseful but it will pass!! Be totally compliant and you WILL be successful. I am 2 1/2 months post op and down 40lbs. Good luck to ya!
