Genpro has changed, anyone try Piping Rock Whey Protein Isolate Powder?

Recommended Posts

Do you guys still use this? If so how many scoops are you using? When asked on their website how many scoops one would need to get 65 grams a day, their staff responded saying one scoop contains 5.6g of Protein. This is very different from the product label.

Piping Rock - 1 scoop weighs 28g. 25g of Protein. Not a bad little supplement. I do about a half a scoop a day except on heavy workout days when I add an extra scoop into my Protein shake.

I am looking at the listing on Amazon http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NBAHOLY?ref_=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t

and Amazon has the directions as "For adults, add five (5) level scoops (28 grams) of whey Protein isolate powder to 8 ounces of cold Water, milk or your favorite juice and blend" - I am assuming that this is wrong? The label photo says 1 scoop is equal to 28g of product = 25g Protein. Is this correct, so 1 scoop to 8 oz of liquid?

I currently use the GENEPRO and have been happy so far (I don't agree with the naysayers about the nutrition claims) but this seems like such a better value! Is it too good to be true?? $14 is ridiculously cheap...

I don't know where they get the 5 scoops from, one is 28g. I like it, not seeing any negatives, ingredients seem solid and no complaints to-date. I'm a fan and daily user.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
