Can you do this all organic?

I would really love to drink organic shakes and a lot of these things that we're going to be eating. Does anyone know of of any organic brands of baby food or shakes?

Do you think this is possible?

Sure it's possible. More difficult but possible. There are plenty of organic plant based Protein supplements out there. I'd go to my local health store (love my central market) and buy some samples to see what tastes best to you.

Orgain, Raw Protein, and I think Vega are organic or claim to be organic. I agree with @Weighting2BeFree your bet bet is to go to a health food store or Whole Foods and try a few. Just save your receipt so you can return any you don't like.

Getting this surgery is about more than losing weight for me, and, like you, I want to go organic, or at least, 100% NON-GMO. Here are the Protein powders I have purchased so far:

Phood (plant based powder)

Naked whey (un-de-natured grass fed whey powder)

Dr. Axe Healing Protein

Dr Axe Collegen Protein

Let me know if you find any more healthy options!

I'd love to hear how these work for you. I went with the Isopure because my nutritionist said it was important to use whey isolates and not concentrates. I plan to switch back to plant based protein once I hit maintenance but I will l likely still need unflavored because I can't have stevia.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the great ideas and moral support! If I'm only putting a tiny bit in my body it's going to be top quality ( if possible)! :)))

The organic Protein powders/shakes I've seen were so high in carbs though :(

I guess I'll have to wait for maintenance.

I'm allergic to it. It's in the ragweed family and triggers severe hives.

Here's another resource for Protein powders. Bob's Red Mill

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
