SPettijo 40 Posted September 27, 2015 Hey there, I was looking around at my old blogs and I found one that I started two and a half years ago. It has a delicious recipe I had forgot about. pizza recipe once I've perfected it.
CowgirlJane 14,260 Posted September 27, 2015 Sounds delish! Meets my calorie/protein /carb requirements too - I will try and report back.
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted September 27, 2015 Morningstar isn't my cup of tea. I don't like the cellulose in it (and of course it triggers my allergies). However I do a basic egg bake in cupcake tins similar to this. I use eggs, cheese, veg, TVP or seitan. The good thing about a recipe like this is if you make them on Sunday then you have a quick grab and go Breakfast.
Daisee68 2,493 Posted September 27, 2015 This sounds really good. I have been craving sausage. Haven't tried Morningstar yet. I tried turkey sausage and hated it but I just tried to eat the patty not chopped up in something so maybe that was the difference. Will have to give this a try. BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted September 27, 2015 Thanks!! Does anyone have any ideas on lightening up sausage balls? I looooooooove my mothers sausage balls!! Maybe half the meat and half ground veg or mushrooms with the same seasonings. Like OP's recipe, you can just adapt it to suit your needs.
