sparkles1971 47 Posted September 26, 2015 I do 30 minute weight training (21 day fix) about 3 days a week and alternate with light jogging for the other 3, and usually yoga or Pilates on the 7th day. I track with my fitness pal and get about 1000-1200 cals a day with 90g Protein minimum. Is this too many calories? I am 4 months out from surgery and it seems like a lot to me. Babbs 14,681 Posted September 26, 2015 I don't think so with the amount you're excersising. Are you still losing?
sparkles1971 47 Posted September 26, 2015 I am losing, but it's slowed since I started working out more often a month ago. I have always lost about 2lbs a week and every 10lbs it slows for a few lbs and then picks up again for the next 6-8, rinse, repeat. I guess it just sounds like a lot compared to the past 3 months of 600-800 cals. Unfortunately, I had my surgery in Puerto Vallarta, so there isn't a lot of post op support. heavyb 37 Posted September 26, 2015 You are eating, exercising, losing, and plateauing just the same I am. I think you are right on track. About every ten pounds, I get dead stuck at same weight for about a week or maybe two, then I'll drop another 6 or 8 pounds fairly quickly. I'm probably about 1100-1300 cals per day and I am eating a bit of carbs now, mostly fruit but I take a two ounce treat a couple times a week. I walk there to five rounds of golf each week and lift light weights. As long as it keeps going down. I am down 50 lbs since June 11 sleeve.
SeahawksFan 444 Posted September 28, 2015 I think your fine. It will definitely be slower the closer you get to goal. ~LA
Yrkybarry 40 Posted September 28, 2015 I am about the same with calories and exercise and stall out about every 6lbs. I try to keep trucking on. I know I need to reduce carbs and definitely think that could help
