JudiM 1 Posted July 11, 2007 Okay.....looks like I figured it out....choose "insert a link"....copy and paste the above link into that....it should go in your signature I'm thinking....I'm going to try that now....
JudiM 1 Posted July 11, 2007 Well, it's NOT the most beautiful but it works!!! Here's what you do.....copy the link in the first post then go to the "User Control Panel" to edit your signature....you choose "insert link" and copy the URL into the pop up (Control "V").....you may need to play around with the size and your sig line if it goes over 10 lines. If anyone wants to edit the banner....feel free. I was less concerned about the look of it and more concerned about figuring it out. There ya go...... faithmd 14 Posted July 11, 2007 http://www.lapbandtalk.com/f5/how-get-ticker-your-signature-16218/ Yes, it does. Above is a link to an entire thread about it. Of note, your ticker is rather large, you might want to shrink the Crazy Ates size. And you seem to have a few extra characters floating around. (Like the P) Cool name! I will often click off the check box so my sig doesn't display if I've alreasy posted on a page once, it takes so long to page down past all the sigs if you're on dial up (I'm not, but I'm sure someone somewhere is). Just a suggestion.
JudiM 1 Posted July 12, 2007 Hi Faith..... I've been trying to reduce the size....not having lots of luck yet. And, I will work on my signature to reduce it as well. Although I work at a university that is considered the Mecca of Technology and my son is getting his PhD in Human Computer Interaction, I have not "absorbed" (the only way I'd learn it all!) much more than the very basic computer skills! I'll keep trying..... Thanks!!!!
