Any Oct 6 Sleevers out there?

I plan on hiking the Superior Trail in northern Minnesota next summer and that will take about three weeks. I am trying to keep all these thoughts in my mind as I go through the next month.

That is an awesome plan! Outdoor time in the Midwest summer is awesome - can't wait to do it myself!

I would love a bra that is not a minimizer.

What thing are you looking forward to after you lose the weight? One of mine is shopping and not having to be limited to just the XXL size and that size has a very limited number in stock. Searching the shelves for the biggest size or looking for just the longest belts is what I want to leave in the past. What about you guys? ;)

I'm excited to go on all the coasters in hersheypark with my kids. We had season passes this year and I had a depressing time sitting on benches people watching while everyone else was on the rides. I love coasters, all kinds, and we're renewing our season passes, so I cannot wait.

I'm also excited to try doing a color run sometime. And getting back in my garden without pain. Maybe even dating again. There's so much to look forward to!

Color run would be fun but I'm not to sure about breathing in all that powder. Blow your nose and get a rainbow. I would think it is safe though.

I hear ya. And the guy at the GNC said "It tastes horrible!". So, someone use to chugging creatine powder hates this drink? Not a good sign...

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
