JJB 2 Posted July 12, 2007 When I go for my fill on the 20th I will ask them about my Gallbladder. I would love to get this pain taken care of. I didnt know so many people had the same thing going on with them. I know that it is the nerve thing for me also. Because I can feel and hear air moving around in there when I lay down because it is hurting. So I just wonder why it is getting caught in there. I will let you guys know what my Dr says. Thanks guys.
DebLPN 0 Posted July 13, 2007 Went to Water aerobics today, hoping it might help my left shoulder/arm pain, but it didn't. It has hurt nonstop until I've almost gone to teh ER except I have no insurance and I know they cant do anything anyway. Gonna call my surgeon Monday,,I cant go on like this much longer. It hurts regardless of whether I've eaten or not, whether I'm standing, sitting, laying down. Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted July 13, 2007 I read online somewhere that left shoulder pain is sometimes chronic-meaning it never goes away. I have it sometimes in the morning, but it goes away during the day. I also read it has something to do with the diaphram, but it's felt in the left shoulder. I was with my friend as she had surgery, I was even in the OR so I had the opportunity to ask questions. Left shoulder pain (as all nurses know) is common for gallbladder. With my friend she could actually see the muscles in her gut contracting with each spasm of pain. It was worse with her periods. If you have lost weight quickly that is another symptom of gallbladder. I realize I am not telling you anything you don't already know, just throwing it out anyway. You have my phone number. If there is anything I can do please call me. With that said, your pain is not typical of gallbladder pain but!!! With gallbladder anything goes. It's weird pain and unique to everyone. Not claiming I think it is gallbladder, just stuff to consider.

Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted July 14, 2007 So what does the diaphram do to cause this referred pain? I am not all that up on body parts so I don't really get what the band does to the diaphram to cause this. Thanks bubble! you are always so informative!
