hopefulmom76 41 Posted September 21, 2015 My new stomach has been going crazy the past two days! It's like gas is constantly trapped and I belch all the time. It was not like this before AT ALL! Could it be reflux, a leak, gallstones? It makes me not want to eat because then it goes nuts sounding. I'm not really uncomfortable besides the belching all the time. Opinions? OKCPirate 5,323 Posted September 21, 2015 @@hopefulmom76most common cause of narrowing of the esophagus, or stricture, is scarring of the esophagus from reflux of stomach acid occurring in patients with heartburn. Patients with a narrowed portion of the esophagus often have trouble swallowing; food feels like it is “stuck” in the chest region, causing discomfort or pain. worth checking out
JosieAppleHead 74 Posted September 22, 2015 I am also three months out and experiencing issues with eating. I can't eat or drink anything without pain in my chest. Makes me not want to eat and I feel hungry all the time so I forced myself to eat a little tuna and spinach salad and it went straight through me.
sleevenv 483 Posted September 22, 2015 Slow down your eating, chew more, and take Gas-X. I'm also three months out and have really noisy sounds in my pouch. It's almost always air and Gas-X takes it right away. If it were any of those things you're worried about, there would be PAIN! If you're truly concerned, of course, seek medical advice. byebyedarkpassenger 203 Posted October 5, 2015 I have to drink a few sips of Water before I start eating. I feel like this dislodges the gas that has accumulated in my tummy and I burp it out quite easily. Then when it's time to eat, I have no noisy gas issues.
