dhoman 2 Posted September 20, 2015 I was really never told not to chew gum when I had my surgery. I swallowed some gum today and I'm not sure if I'm having "the stuck" feeling or its just my anxiety of swallowing the gum. Has anybody experience this before and what did u have to do? IncredibleShrinkingMan 437 Posted September 22, 2015 I am a sleever and I was told that it was extremely dangerous because of the narrower openings, and I can see why this might apply to bandsters too. I chew Dentyne from time to time, but I make absolutely sure to spit it out once it has lost the flavor. I don't know the rules for you guys, but we were told to visit an ER if this occurs.
