annam1130 40 Posted January 24, 2016 ImageUploadedByBariatricPal1453657111.958002.jpg I found this online and thought it was an appropriate supplement for this post. Saved it to my phone. I'll be 8 weeks postop tomorrow and I anticipate a stall soon based on others' reports of when they stalled.

That's about when mine started it lasted about two weeks... now its back to a couple pounds a week. Docs said as long as no gain... then its good... and not to worry to try to change up something you do or eat. What worked for me honestly I jsut eat meat... and take my Vitamins gym 4 days a week I started just last week cos I wasn't released yet.... from the docs. Here's why you exercise so much and still can't lose weight http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/28/health/weight-loss-exercise-plateau/index.html well that kind of stinks though... :/ But it is what we have to work with... So trudging through it on foot in front of the other... I had started the gym... and got sick couldnt go to gym got meds from doc yesterday but still kinda in and out of my stall... weight loss some days I drop a pound others I don't not sure but its not like mine was at the start.... but curious what is normal for sleeve? Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted January 29, 2016 I don't think there is a "normal". My observation is it's more cyclical for me.
yerawizardamy 241 Posted February 7, 2016 I've seen you post a link for this thread many times, and I've just gone searching for it now that I've officially hit my "three week stall". I was hoping that I would be special but alas, here I am. I'm not worried about it, really. I know that what I've been (or haven't been) doing is a big factor. I guess this stall was the kick in the pants that I needed to really get serious about exercise/water/protein.

NYLux12 50 Posted February 9, 2016 My stall has lasted for a month now. In the first month after surgery I lost about 30 lbs, in the second month I lost about 5 lbs. So, I made a phone appointment with my nutritionist for the end of this week.
2muchfun 8,927 Posted February 9, 2016 NYLux12 I stalled two weeks out from surgery and didn't restart losing till I was about 4 months out. My visit with my nut did it for me. Good idea to visit with your nut.

Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted February 23, 2016 I talked with my massage therapist today about stalls. It was the first time I had seen her so I told her briefly about my journey and that I have lost a significant amount of weight and have a significant amount more to lose. Most of her questions were about extra skin. I told her I had noticed that stalls were when I noticed that my skin tended to tighten up, Once I was on the table she said she thought my skin looked really good. It's probably because I drink lots of Water, stay moisturized, but also because my body is doing a lot of work.
