laurarogersclark 10 Posted September 18, 2015 How long will your body continue to lose weight after surgery? When do you reach where your body stalls and you're at your new weight. The maintenance phase. I don't want to be finished I want to lose more. Surgery Dec. 12,2015. Pre surg. Weight 240 Size 18 Today 140lbs. Size 6. Do I still have time before my body gets in that comfort zone. Those of you with loose skin on the arms Will it slowly shrink or is it just gonna be like this? Thanks~Laura
Threetimesacharm 1,400 Posted September 20, 2015 Did you mean your surgery was 2014? No your loose skin will not go away without plastic surgery intervention. Congrats though on your weight loss, good job!!
jess9395 5,449 Posted September 21, 2015 Your skin shrinks for a while maybe up to six months then it is what it is. You can lose weight as long as you put forth the effort! No limit. But you've had great success! CONGRATS
justwondering 7 Posted September 23, 2015 My doctor told me after 18 months your body has pretty much reset and that is where the easier weight loss stops.
