Bandista 7,466 Posted September 17, 2015 Hi there and congratulations on choosing your healthy future -- I am almost two years out and am so happy with my band. I'm not perfect but I do pretty well and I am now at a "normal" weight which feels really good. One thing that helped me was paying attention to my pants sizes rather than the scale. And of course the band is all about follow-up. I knew going into the process that I would have eleven visits with my surgeon in the first year. I made sure to go to every single appointment.
