What helped you eat slower?

I use a timer, a small spoon/fork, and eat with my nondominant hand...

I had not thought about eating with my left hand! That's a great tip!

My surgeon suggested it at my last appointment and it's been a huge help in slowing down!

I am a fast eater as well, before my surgery I got a smart spoon and fork that help me then. After the surgery I forgot and ate to fast; all I got to say to that is, lesson learn the hard way.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
