marcescobar22@hotmail.com 18 Posted September 15, 2015 Good evening. ...8 weeks out is OK to eat almonds? Trying to introduce new things....
Natalie Stein 14 Posted September 15, 2015 Hi Marcela, I hope you are doing well! Great question - almonds are super healthy because of their healthy fats, Fiber, and Protein (but be careful with serving size). The problem is that they're pretty sharp and can hurt your sleeve. I'd wait another few weeks just to be safe, if you can stand it. Have you already introduced most other foods? I'm sure you've gotten a bunch of different Proteins in, and probably some fruits and cooked vegetables. Once you get through all of those just fine (don't rush it!), you might think about almonds and other nuts - but never rush it. Hope that helps! marcescobar22@hotmail.com 18 Posted September 17, 2015 Thank you!!!!! I'm doing pretty good...adding new veggies everyday.... something totally new for me...but....i find that to accept (eggplant ) I added low fat feta cheese and on another occasion cheddar cheese ....kind of disguising the taste, in both cases it was an ounce of each. ...does this totally defies the purpose? ? I'm so confused about everything. .... also I feel that if I eat more veggies I will never make it to the amount of calories that I'm supposed to. .....
