Lipo and Breasts Warning: Graphic images

Recommended Posts

Princess,

I'm more of a "Brains and Butt" man myself so you can take my comments with however much salt you want to add:

To me your breast look natural, in fact the slight differences (let me emphasize slight) enhance the natural appearance since perfectly symmetrical breasts are rare in nature and usually raise suspicion of enhancement. When you consider:

"breast biopsies and removal of 2 spawning masses and 3 biopsies of fibroendenomas and breast lift with augmentation"

the results seem pretty incredible to me. Any man who would have qualms about their appearance is probably so anal retentive/obsessive compulsive he'd never get in position to see them in person anyway. LOL

As far as people complaining about minors seeing the pictures you've posted here, well you haven't shown anything that can't be seen on cable, satellite, vhs/dvd, health books, art books, museums, National Geographic, or any number of other sources readily available to your average child. Think about it, any kid who is savvy enough to cruise the net is probably not going to preferentially search bariatric surgery sites looking for a place to get their jollies when there are more porn sites than fleas on a dog's back with much more graphic content and easier to find to boot. (Not that your's couldn't hold their own with the competition....LOL)

It is encouraging even to the men to see fellow bandsters experiencing success regardless of gender.

Congratulations!!!!!

Even though there is a size difference when you have your arms raised, they look symmetrical when you have your arms down. My concern would be that if you had one made larger or the other made smaller, they wouldn't look symmetrical when you had your arms down.

Can you explain what they do exactly when they do this wedge breast lift? I know one day I will need a lift, but didn't want the veritcal scar.

How about nipple sensitivity? That was a big concern for me if I had a lift done, if it would mess with the nerves too much and lose nipple sensitivity.

Thanks,Audree

The wedge lift is done with patients that have their breast tissue intact and only have a "nipple below the crease" rather than a "nipple pointing down or no breast tissue". So essentially, I have 2 incisions in each breast. One around the nipple and another under the breast in the crease. They take the tissue and stretch it down to the crease incision and replace the nipple.

I was worried about nipples too, if anything they are OVERLY sensitive right now which I am hoping is going to calm down a bit. Even shower Water is sensitive when it hits them right.

ouachita, hmmmmm now you got me thinkin' about joining the competition lol :D

Hi Princess,

First, congratulations on your amazing transformation, you were beautiful before and you are beautiful now. The implants and surgery had nothing to do with it.

I understand your dilemma, and all I can really add is that I think they look excellent, but you are the only one who can decide that they are what you want. I think if you are uncomfortable in a year, then make him fix them.

I think some of the women here are a little uncomfortable with the pictures, or with the men in forums looking at them. I started at 500lbs, I will need almost all of the same procedures down to the breast reduction. How will I find this information if it isn't for the brave women of this forum who are willing to share their personal and intimate issues with us. Isn't this what this forum is about after all?

Thank you Princess, you were and now are absolutely stunning...that is absolutely amazing to see how great you have done.

I love all of you guys and gals. This thread is one of the main reasons I am still here after more than 2 years banded. The support, love and constructive criticism is well rec'd and I thank you all for your kindness support and unconditional love. Only those of us that have seen the other side (fat) can appreciate the true changes and body as we do. Thank you again to all of you who have taken part on this discussion. I will post more pics as I progress in healing. I will let you know what happens this Monday after I see the doctor. I hope this thread will be of help to many of the members as well as the guests that visit this forum seeking information.

Went to doc appt!

Doc showed me some "before" pictures he had taken of me. My right was a bit odd and smaller to begin with and the left was naturally wider. He told me that in a year if I am not happy, I can have more put in the bag and have them bigger and fuller but wants me to live with them for awhile before I go off the deep edge on getting more in.

Also, gotta tell ya all that I did some Botox. THAT STUFF ROCKS!! I saw an immediate difference and now 2 days later even better! It stung like a bitch but allllllllll worth it. Highly recommend the Botox for foreheads and crows feet!!!

Wow, Jenna!

Nobody deserves a hot bod more than you... except maybe me... but that's a ways off, yet.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I figure we - who will probably all need some form of work or another - can't have too much information.

I am with you on the big - but there is some sense in moderation to start with. By the time all the swelling goes down, you might like the final shape. Don't worry about the imperfection thing - it does just add to the whole "natural" look. Nobody has perfectly symmetrical boobs...

Thanks for all the great information - and I hope you will post more pictures later on for scar stages and such.

Enjoy the new bod.

Hugs!

Jenna, you probably don't remember, but you helped me tremendously prior to my banding. We even spoke on the phone a few times. Your reassurance convinced me to go to Ortiz, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

So I know, personally, that you have a great desire to help and inspire others.

Your boobies are GORGEOUS!!! I agree with your doctor, let them heal and live with them for a year. You probably will be more comfortable then. My breasts have always been large and round, and I have received way too much attention because of them since age 12. Like Jacqui, after nursing they do sag. The strangest thing though, is that when I look in the mirror I think they look symmetrical, but when I catch myself naked in a double mirror am surprised how differently they are shaped. It is totally normal to be asymmetrical! It is the same thing with our faces, noses, mouths. It is more natural and interesting that way!

BTW, I am extremely conservative, and I think the pictures are very helpful!

This is great info...thanks so much for sharing. Did you consider surgery in TJ? I am having a consult with Dr.Quores (sp?) as I was referred to him by Dr. Ortiz. (Oct 8). I am pretty excited!

Take this for what you will, but perfection is in the imperfection. Fake boobs that look like they were drawn on definitely don't have the same wow effect, but hey that's my opinion. :)

Wanted to post these at 4 1/2 months post op pics. I am currently at 6 months post op and they look more fantabulous! I shouldn't have gotten so concerned and freaked right after the surgery. They just needed time to heal and then they looked great!!! I am very happy with them now.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
