jennjarrid 14 Posted September 12, 2015 Does anyone find that Quest bars make them bloated?
Elode 8,093 Posted September 12, 2015 Nope I loved them!
Smye 694 Posted September 12, 2015 (edited) I'm with @@Elode on this one at this point. But I WILL say that I have that issue if I eat or drink anything within an hour of eating one. I also eat, at most, 2 a month in case of emergency. Maybe if I had more of them I'd have noticed more? Edited September 13, 2015 by Smye
mtraverse 327 Posted September 13, 2015 I eat one every other day or so and have not found that a problem. I love them and have to restrict how often I eat them because I don't think they are the best source of Protein for me
Thinside 155 Posted September 13, 2015 (edited) Certain flavors go down great for me, others give me terrible gas. (Well, I say this having only eaten 3 bars total so far, 1/2 at a time, so take this with a grain of salt.) I'm treating it like a science experiment, trying different bars and taking notes. So far, the mixed berry one has been great. The Peanut Butter chocolate gave me terrible gas both of the different days I ate half of one. And I couldn't stand the taste of the mint chocolate one. (It has weird pea green chunks in it that do not look like food!) I haven't tried other brands since the sleeve, but used to find most of them too sickly sweet -- more like candy bars. I like the sweetness and text of Quest bars, but they do seem to have a lot of carbs, though. Edited September 13, 2015 by Thinside
OKCPirate 5,323 Posted September 13, 2015 Used them on my mountain climb. Not a huge fan, I prefer beef Jerky as an emergency food.
Smye 694 Posted September 13, 2015 @@OKCPirate, absolutely agree - though I use Jerky as a convenience food also, it helps when you make your own.
