shelleylester 28 Posted September 12, 2015 How long after you eat something can dumping happen?
theother_onefoot 122 Posted September 12, 2015 I know you posted this in a bypass forum and I've had the sleeve, but before surgery my doctor explained that VSG patients can have this happen sometimes too. So when it's happened to me, it really has been almost immediate. Sudden feeling of unwell, needing to go lie down, fast pulse.. Yuck
esskay77 785 Posted September 12, 2015 I thought I heard that it could be anywhere from immediately or all the way up to 8 hours. I know that isn't much help but that is what I read somewhere.
Spiceyfrog 269 Posted September 12, 2015 It's typically immediate, but I've ready some research that states it could be up to 8 hours. I have dumped three times and it's always been immediate!
