Trayjay33 138 Posted September 11, 2015 I am wondering what unique foods people have found themselves eating after surgery. I had someone offer me okra chips today and I was skeptical to try them but they are actually delicious! What foods are you now eating or have tried that you would not have before surgery? Trayjay33 138 Posted September 13, 2015 @@Cervidae, how do you make hummus?
Cervidae 2,389 Posted September 13, 2015 It's super easy. Just toss chickpeas, a bit of olive oil, a bit of lemon juice, some fresh garlic, a pinch of salt and pepper in your food processor or blender and blend until smooth.

toasty 371 Posted September 17, 2015 I've tried spaghetti squash a number of times. I must be cooking it wrong, because every time it seems to clump together into an unholy mess, especially when I put any sort of sauce in with it. A solid knot of tangled squash that ends up having to be cut with a knife. I think I do it right: I cut the squash in half, put it in a pan with a small amount of Water and bake it for about 40 mins in the oven, then when you can pierce it with a knife take it out and use a fork to shred the insides into "spaghetti". But the squash seems to clump together. Any ideas?
