I'm Home....Surgery September 9th

Recommended Posts

Hi, I just arrived home about an hour ago.

I had a pretty restless night at the surgery center...wasn't my iComfort!

I've taken my meds and I think I am going to try to rest and sleep for a bit.

You had the surgery yesterday and you're home today!?!? Wow! I thought it was 2-3 days in the hospital before you can go home.

I had my surgery yesterday too and won't be out until at least tomorrow morning. I'm exhausted though, nurses come in every 30 mins it seems like lol.

About 10 years ago, I discovered I had high blood pressure when I was at work with chest pains. They brought me to the hospital for a "stress test" which is supposed to be either getting on a treadmill with electrodes on your body or getting a shot that speeds up your heart... with electrodes on your body. I had to stay overnight. They woke me up every half hour to an hour throughout the night. I asked if that was really the stress test because if it was... it was working.

I had no idea you could do that! I thought it was a huge serious thing and they had to keep you for a few days.

@Radar I used to think that same thing! But I went through True Results ... and that is how they did the sleeve for me ... there were a lot of ppl there that day ... they also do surgeries in the hospital for others ... but this is what worked for me :)

Just took more pain meds about an hour ago.

I slept for about an hour maybe.

Tried unjury chicken Soup, best thing I've had so far.

I will stay up for another few minutes then back to bed. I feel so tired.

I was outpatient too. We were home by 2pm and I'm glad. It was nice to be in my own bed. My mom and husband made sure I got my mess around the clock and really don't think I would have been any better off in the hospital.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
