Hi I'm Tiffany I mostly read these posts and never really publish but I'm worried and need some input. I am four months post on from the rny. I have lost 66lbs from surgery and here over the past three to four weeks I lose 5-6 pounds and stop losing for about a week or more. I do think know if this is considered small stalls or what the issue is but I do my Protein and I feel as if I get adequate amounts of food too keep the weight loss consistent. Am I done losing weight? I'm not ready to be done. I wanna be under 200 and I'm scared I'm not going to get to that point! What's going on? Any reassurance or advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you

You look awesome!!! Great job!!!

Have you tried changing up your cardio? Changing your caloric intake a bit for a day or 2? You need to confuse your body again by doing something different, which alot of times will break stalls. You aren't done. Keep going and be patient, the weight will fall off don't worry :)

I think you are going to be fine. Your body's schedule for losing weight does not match what you have in mind. All you can do is exercise more and keep your calories under 900 a day. Your body has to finally give in at some point.

I've been through a couple of small stalls. They can really be discouraging, but they seem to end after 2-3 weeks. I have found that they are most likely to happen when I'm doing the same thing for several days like same food, same workout.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
