Interesting topic. . I guess my first question is what kind of stomach did you have for roller coasters before the surgery? I personally had a stomach that could take anything, and even after surgery I'm pretty sure I could handle a roller coaster without an issue as long as I hadn't just eaten. That being said, everyone seems to be a little different on these type of things. I am curious to hear if anyone has ridden one post op.

i used to ride everything :) now that 70% of my stomach is gone. I just wonder. Specially since we just got season tickets.

I have a schedukled 4 days at Universal Studios three weeks after surgery. I will find out then how or what rides I can take. Good luck with your theme park day.

Funny... I haven't ridden an amusement park ride in a long time. I didn't even bother going to the parks for fear I wouldn't fit in the rides, and I'd be humiliated.

I can't wait to go next summer, just because I can!!

I don't see why your stomach size should impact your ability to ride... Interested to hear if anyone thinks different.

I went to universal 3 weeks after surgery, no problems with any of it. Surgeon cleared me before i went...nice having some room between my gut and the safety bar!!
