Help im craving tomato soup

I'm 4 days post op and having a major craving for Tomato Soup. Any ideas how to cure this like now?

That is too funny. For some reason that was my initial Soup craving as well. I was on full liquids on day 3. And had no problems with the Protein Shakes and sugar free puddings so I figured I'd give it a try and it went well. Added a scoop of unflavored Protein and mixed it togther and yummy. Lol

My surgeon allowed ProtiDiet Tomato basil Soup when I was on Clear Liquids. I drank V8 when I got to full liquids.

I ate Tomato basil Soup five days out. It was my reward for progressing to full liquids! I could only eat a little, but it was a nice change of pace. I've only had it once more since then, but it caused me no issues. Just make sure you strain it to prevent chunks.

If it isn't too acidic for you why don't you have some Tomato Soup?

I had Tomato Soup on day 3! i added some skim milk to it which made it creamy, along with some basil. Its actually my go to food for this liquid diet cause its yummmy! (i also have gastritis and a stomach ulcer and I was just fine!)

I had Tomato Soup my first week out. I mixed it with unflavored Protein powder. I didn't have a clear liquid stage. I was discharged on full liquids.

Check with your nutritionist as to what allowed. Don't skip stages without talking it over first.

Tomato Soup was what I craved as well but didn't agree with me at all.

How funny! Today I graduated to full liquids and Tomato Soup was my first "treat" from clear liquids. It must be one of those ultimate comfort foods, like grilled cheese with Tomato Soup that I had as a kid, that caused the craving.

unfortunately ... pre-surgery ... Tomato Soup was a staple for me ... but to my sadness ... after surgery ... when I tried it .... YUCK!

it was one of the things the new taste buds and tummy does not like :(

I hope that if you're craving it soooo bad ... that it tastes as you remember it ..
