_Kate_ 2,224 Posted September 6, 2015 45 days since surgery 6 weeks 3 days out 52lbs lost 100g Protein, 70oz fluids and about 600 calories a day 1 day until I start at the gym 1 friend asked 3 times pre surgery, on liver diet week "Can't you just diet". 300 times I envisaged smashing her face into a brick wall, in slow motion (I am not usually violent!) 8 times I have cried this week for no reason at all 3 occasions hubby has sat me down and asked, "Can I help, I'll do anything" 1 suggestion that diamonds might help. 0 diamonds. 2 weeks of being back at work (I have a feeling this is tied into the crying) 3 dress sizes vanished. 2 poops a week 2 bra sizes lost (No cup size though!) 2 really good friends met through this site. Love the post @Kgl24 Best of luck in your upcoming surgery and speedy recovery

Kgl24 48 Posted September 8, 2015 @@vsgLola129 Thank you! Today's the day! I have to be at the hospital at 11 for surgery at 1 which is great for me because he takes the most complicated cases first so hopefully that's telling that I'm scheduled in the afternoon. My 9 days of pre-op shed 14 pounds. I can't wrap my mind around that! THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING! Deep breaths. Thanks for the love!

_Kate_ 2,224 Posted September 8, 2015 @@nomilktoday I have always loved the powder Protein mixed with Water and after surgery I had three a day, Soup with added Protein, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt etc etc. Once I was on pureed foods, I still had the Protein drinks every day. Now I am on 2 a day, one for Breakfast and one before bed. That’s 50g in itself. Otherwise I eat, for lunch and for dinner plus 2 Snacks, a mix of the following (weights can vary depending on what I have had or plan to have the rest of the day): Roasted chicken breast 3oz: 24g protein 2 poached eggs: 15g protein 0% cottage cheese 100g: 10.2g protein tuna Steak 2.5 oz.: 21g protein Fat free Greek yogurt 100g: 10.3g protein Coconut protein drink: 19g protein Salmon 3 oz.: 16g protein Homemade Beef meatballs 100 g.: (no bread) 33g protein Medium skinny latte: 11g protein Mini light baby bel: 5g protein Grilled pork chop 2oz.: 12g protein Syntrax nectar drinks: 23g protein King Prawns 100g: 15g protein I still use unflavoured protein mix as well and as soon as I can a more varied diet ill ditch it. At your stage post op I would drink Syntrax Nectar, the Protein Drinks and add unflavoured protein to Soups. Plus cottage cheese and farg greek yogurt. I added unflavoured protein to yogurt once and it was disgusting lol. Hope this helps and congratlations on the surgery
