PreOp Liver Reduction

I start my liver reduction in just 2 days. With Monday being a holiday I can't call my Drs office with my last minute questions before shopping.

I was wondering if you're allowed to season as in (salt) your cooked veggies? Any tips and tricks would be very much appreciated.

I was on a liquid only pre-op diet.. Just doing a quick search though I see that "most" people were allowed to steam and lightly salt there veggies. No dips and no butter or margarine.
