alycopp78 33 Posted September 5, 2015 I am just about two weeks post-op. And I have had my period, or what I am calling a period but really isn't cause I wasn't due for a while, since 3 days post-op. I know the blood thinners caused it, but I haven't had them in 5 days. Is it ever going to stop?! Anyone else experience this? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Margie122 845 Posted September 6, 2015 The rapid weight loss causes havoc on your cycle. I got my period early too and I have read where some women have it for much longer or even heavier than usual. VanessaVSGforme 276 Posted September 8, 2015 Day AFTER surgery I woke up to my period! It was awful. I already could hardly move because IV and drain tube but now I had to deal with changing pads and trying to keep clean. It was horrible.
