Still have a habit of ordering a million things to eat

Recommended Posts

And obviously can't eat much of it so I end up giving everything to the bf or brother or friends and they're getting fatter because of it lol.

I still have that head hunger where I look at the menu and order things I used to but when it comes I don't like it am not hungry or just don't care for it so I pass it on to other people. Literally untouched plates. I like look at it and go ew.

Everyone around me is enjoying all the free food. I love that I can't eat as much as I used to not have the urge to do so. Patting my sleeve :)))

Shows you want to stay on track.. Also a good person for giving food away instead of throwing it way. May the force be with you. ..

It's not bothering my progress I think it's ok ... I think I'll need to get used to stop ordering so much ...waste of money. Psychologically gotta still work on it. I'll probably stop doing this once I see the bill for food and go what?! I didn't eat anything! Lol oh the struggles.

I rarely even order anymore. Servings are so big, my husband just gives me stuff off of his plate. A shrimp, a scallop, a bite or two of fish and a bite or two of the side and I am done. Sometimes I get an appetizer and we share with each other. We spend about half what we used to when we go out to dinner now, lol.

I think this is what has to happens he orders and I pick as opposed to I order and waste everything and give it elsewhere. Problem is I hate what he eats. It's fried stuff that I just can't stomach anymore haha. Oh and he eats everything he orders plus mine

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
